Yesterday we dropped Sister Aaron off at the MTC. It was an emotional time for all of us, but most especially for her. Who knew she loved her family so much? Thankfully, there were lots of welcoming missionaries there to greet the new arrivals, and each missionary was taken under the wing of one more experienced. I could see that the sister who took our daughter into the MTC was a kind and caring person. I'd include her name here except that her tag was in one of those crazy Eastern European languages with way too many consonants and no vowels, so I couldn't even read it.
Sister Aaron was able to send a quick email once she got inside to let us know that she was doing fine. Here's what she had to say:
Hey family! So we get to do computer stuff first and I get to email you, so yeah. I love you all, I miss you. I haven't cried yet, which I'm impressed by. I'm having a good time so far.
Love you!
Sister Aaron
