One P-Day Down...A Whole Bunch More To Go

Today was Sister Aaron's first P-Day, so she emailed this morning and then again when we could message back and forth a bit this afternoon.  She plans to write absolutely scintilating blog posts, so she decided not to try to fit that into her email time today.  Instead, she'll send me an old-timey letter in the actual mail and make me type it up for this blog.

However, I thought I'd share some of what she had to say.

I'm in the MTC for 4 weeks, that's correct! I guess they moved English speaking missions back to 3 weeks, and then because I'm a  visitor's center missionary, there's an extra week just for that. We'll get to go to SLC visitor's center for a couple of days and do training there as well. Also! We all got this little card that's like a certificate of missionary-hood, and it says my release date is December 18th, 2017. So I can be back for Christmas! :D

It's going pretty well. My companion is Sister Thomas, and she's going to the San Antonio mission, which is awesome! She's great at trying to keep us on schedule and focusing on 100% obedience. So far we've taught one mock investigator together, and got a little too aggressive. We've enjoyed the subpar MTC food, and frozen in all the classrooms together. I'm shivering as I type.
